Max, Mollie & Amy's Kittens

So Russ broke down and agreed to let the kids get a couple kittens from our neighbor who was overflowing with baby kitties. This led to three as Amy also got one! They are adjusting to their life at their new house. Russ even converted an old dog house into a kitten house equipped with a smaller door and a heating lamp so they will stay warm in the winter!

In the chair below are the babies. Up front is Amy's kitten: Pinky (who has a cute pink nose and blue eyes). The black/white one behind Pinky is Mollie's kitten: Skippy (full name is Skippy John Jones - and Skippy has a slight limp in one of it's back legs). The calico kitten is Max's: Camo (short for Camouflage). They are super cute and super fun. And as you can see below - very adventurous and acrobatic! They love to climb along their deck railing! Pretty brave for babies!

And a cute photo of Mollie next to her mom's zinnias in the garden!

Noah & His Cows

Life on the farm involves some cows. Below is Noah with all his "ladies" and some of their babies. He was needing to move just a few select ones, so he was strategizing on the best way to get them sorted. In the end, he got them sorted very well. But it took some time with a four-wheeler to get them loaded on a trailer!

17 Weeks

Here I am at 17 weeks. Continue to grow and grow. Pretty sure I felt the baby last week. Noah had read that if you gently push on your stomach, the baby will react. So I tried it - and it worked! Our next appointment is August 29.
