It's been so much fun using this blog to share our life with friends and family. I love to look back at old posts and see how much Harper has grown.
Unfortunately, over the years, technology changes and I've found a new platform that will make blogging easier and faster from my iPhone. So I've started a new blog on Tumblr. Please mark this new blog as one of your "favorites" so you remember how to get there. It's: http://www.ourlifeonthefarm.tumblr.com/.
I'm excited that I'll be able to more easily update the blog from my phone. So there will be more to share with you all as switch to Tumblr.
On Tumblr, you can comment on posts, photos and videos - so please feel free to share your messages with us!

Testing out the blogger app for my iPhone. Let's see how well it works! Not sure how to add captions to the photos, though!

Randomness
I now have an iPhone...and the phone takes really good photos and videos. So I'm able to caputre more random moments with Harper. Enjoy some below.
Pushing the kiddie cart at Dahl's. She loved this - ran into a few things, but actually did pretty well pushing it around the store.
As we continue to finalize potty training, we have been rewarding her daily for no accidents. This was a reward of frozen yogurt at Lemon Tree.
Cheesing it up at dinner!
Pretending to be Rudolph during bath time!
Playing peak-a-boo with me. She loves to hide under blankets.
Playing dress up and dancing. Probably not the safest place to dance, but both Noah and I were watching her!
Florida
We had an awesome trip to Florida. Only hiccup was flying out - we were delayed about an hour due to the heavy snow in Des Moines. We had to wait for the snow to pass and then de-ice the plane. I was really nervous our flight would get cancelled due to all the snow, but an hour delay wasn't too bad! And of course, it's always Noah's luck...when we want to travel, there is snow. So he had to line up 3 people to help with his snow removal business while we were gone.
We stayed at Lido Beach Resort near Sarasota. The resort was awesome and the beach was pristine. We were within walking distance of St. Armand's Circle which had great shops and restaurants. So we spent each night there. We would definitely go back to this area again....hopefully soon!
Sunshine Bridge
View from our room.
Noah loved the cart escalator at Publix. He had never seen one before!
Beach - white sand and blue water.
Noah tested out the hurrican simulation machine at Mote Aquarium. Wind speed got up to 78.7 mph.
This is Lido Key. Our resort was in the bottom left hand corner. Where the yellow circle is is St. Armand's Circle. Noah was obsessed with navigating the geography of the key and looking at real estate. I think he's thinking about investing in a property. Anyone want to invest with us?
At St. Armand's Circle.
Meanwhile, back home....Harper did awesome without us. Not even sure she knew we were gone! She loved staying at Aunt Amy's/Uncle Russ' and playing with M&M. Only challenge for them was sleeping at night. She wanted to sleep with Amy and Russ. Amy would go to bed with her, and Harper would exclaim that she NEEDED Uncle Russ next to her too. So then Russ would have to come to bed too - and endure kicks from Harper.
Finally, some snow - so Max and Harper made a snowman....or rather a snow Harper.
Playing with Mollie!

3 Year Pictures
Once again, we are loving the photos our favorite photographer captured of Harper! It had been one year since her last photos, so we weren't sure how well it would go. But we walked in, and she sat right down in front of the camera and started smiling and following directions. She did great and the photos turned out awesome.
Harper's 3rd Birthday!
Harper had a wonderful 3rd birthday. We can't believe she is already 3 - time has flown by! For her b-day, we had a part at our house with the Sandquist side of the family. I had taken her to the party store a few days earlier to pick out party decorations, and she selected Ariel decorations (from the movie Little Mermaid). So her party was decorated with lots of Ariel - except for Ariel cupcakes as Target had lost our order. She didn't seem to notice they were regular cupcakes and not special Ariel cupcakes. I think she received just as many presents for her bday as she did for xmas! Our house is very quickly running out of places to store toys!
Special t-shirt for the bday girl!
Aunt Amy surprised Harper at daycare with balloons and muffins. Harper was so excited!
In her bday crown made by her teacher. She wore it ALL day!
Excited to blow out the candles!
With all her presents and balloons.
A special birthday Barbie!
Her very own digital camera. She's been taking some good pictures!
