Harper's First B-day

Harper's first birthday was Monday. Hard to believe just how fast that first year went! We were in Manchester over the weekend to celebrate the holidays with Noah's family, and also celebrate a couple days early Harper's b-day. At 1, here's some highlights:

- She's not quite walking, but pulling herself up everywhere, and standing up on her own more and more.

- She's jabbering lots - and you can start to make out some words....Mama, Dada, and Hi.

- She loves to give hugs...all you have to do is ask for one!

- She's done with the bottle and formula! We are now on whole milk and sippy cups! (Mommy and Daddy are so glad to not have that formula expense anymore!)

- Her hair is so blonde and fine...it sticks up and out - but is so cute!

- She LOVES books...and is now starting to point things out in the books.

- She's not the best eater of table food. Any noodles, meat or other textures she doesn't like get spit right back out. Seems like we are in for a challenge!

- She signs "more" and "all done" consistently to communicate when eating.

We are singing "happy b-day" to her...she's not quite sure about that!

Hmmm, do I want to eat this?

After I shoved a piece in her mouth she decided yes she did like it!

At daycare on her b-day. Such a big girl in her 1 shirt!

At home on her b-day....again tried to convince her to eat the cake..

...but this time she wanted to feed it to Noah!

Opening presents! She likes digging around in the bags!

This little pull-toy cow really makes her giggle when you pull it around for her!
