Orchard season has also now begun. This year I designed a line of t-shirts to sell at the orchard. We've never tried this before, so we'll see how it goes. I've created "Farm Girl Designs" as my line...so over the weekend I assembled all my tags for the shirts - which arrive on Thursday! Cross your fingers people will like them!

Harvest has Begun!
After a long, hot, volatile and wet summer - fall has finally arrived. Everyone is hoping we have a smooth harvest unlike the last couple of years.

When Daddy dresses Harper...
One morning, I went for a run and came back to see Harper dressed like this. It was a little chilly, and so Noah claims he didn't want her to be cold. Wow...impressive. :)
Reiman Gardens
Last Sunday, we had a fun "family day"...as Noah took the entire day off to spend with us. We decided to go to Reiman Gardens at Iowa State. It was a nice day - and we had a lot of fun walking around. Right now at Reiman Gardens, they have more than 50 gnomes hidden across the gardens...so it was a hunt to find them all.

Daddy and Harper by the world's largest cement gnome. She was kind of scared of this big one.
But she liked some of the little ones.
The other thing she loved was climbing up on every bench we came across - and there were a lot throughout the garden.
Checking out a water feature.
More climbing...
We also checked out the "butterfly house"...which I had been to before, but not Noah or Harper. It's really neat to see all the different kinds of butterflies all around - and they are all very unique. I was lucky enough to capture four in this one photo.
After the gardens, we went out for brunch. Little Harper continues to be a picky eater. At brunch, she had some strawberries and a chocolate chip cookie - which she loved (as you can see)!
Haircut
Before...
After...
I decided one morning before daycare that it was time to trim Harper's bangs. So I pulled out a pair of scissors, and trimmed them up. She looks more like a little girl, than a baby now, with the bangs.
